Bachelor of Science in Tourism Hospitality Management
This innovative degree program is designed to cultivate globally minded, innovation-driven professionals with the knowledge, skills, and leadership capabilities to excel in the international hospitality and tourism industry.
Our program integrates Swiss academic excellence with China’s dynamic tourism economy, delivering an education that blends strategic thinking, operational expertise, and entrepreneurial spirit.
Majors
Our majors are designed to cultivate global professionals in tourism and hospitality with strategic thinking and innovative capabilities. Students complete a two-stage curriculum:
Foundational Phase (Years 1–2):
Students study core hospitality and management principles with core courses in hospitality, tourism, and management fundamentals.
Professional Phase (Years 3–4):
Students specialize in one of two majors:
Each program integrates international best practices with local insights, producing graduates ready for impactful careers across the hospitality and service industries.
Hospitality Management
Designed to prepare students for leadership roles in hotels, resorts, and premium service organizations. The focus is on strategic operations, service excellence, and international standards.
Tourism Management and Service Education
Combines tourism studies with educational methodology to prepare students for careers in tourism planning, destination marketing, or service industry training and development.
MICE Economy and Management
Prepares students for careers in the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) sector. Emphasis is placed on planning, operations, protocol, and sustainable event strategy.
Culinary and Nutrition Education
A unique blend of gastronomy, nutrition science, and education. Students gain culinary arts skills along with teaching competencies for health, wellness, and food education roles.

Our majors lead to diverse and exciting career paths:
Hospitality Management
Graduates are equipped to pursue careers within tourism administration departments at various governmental levels, as well as in enterprises and institutions related to hotel operations, hospitality service management, tourism real estate, financial management, and hotel marketing strategy development.
Tourism Management and Service Education
Graduates may engage in tourism destination planning, attraction landscape design, tourism administration, tourism marketing, and tourism product development within tourism enterprises; assume positions in hotel management and guest service operations within hospitality corporations; or conduct teaching and research in tourism-related disciplines at universities and vocational colleges.
MICE Economy and Management
Graduates are qualified for employment across multiple sectors including tourism administrative departments at all levels, exhibition industry associations, MICE planning and design organizations, tourism real estate development, exhibition enterprises, and agencies specializing in exhibition advertising and marketing strategy.
Culinary and Nutrition Education
Career pathways for graduates include working as chefs, food research and development specialists, quality control managers, operations executives, or culinary and nutrition instructors within food service enterprises; serving as dietitians, nutrition researchers, or medicinal cuisine developers in nutrition research institutions; or undertaking teaching and research roles in relevant academic fields at tertiary institutions and vocational schools.
