Recruitment and Enrollment Policy(2026)
HLTU’s 2026 undergraduate enrollment plan includes two majors
All admissions follow the “Score Priority, Respect for Choices” systenn set by Examination Bureau of Hainan Province. Students are admitted based on Gaokao
scores, program preferences. Applicants who do not meet their preferred program may be reallocated based on score and availability ifthey opt in for
program adjustment.
Hospitality Management
Elective Groups:No limitation
Prepare for leadership in hotels, resorts, and tourism enterprises.
This major equips students with the leadership and operational skills needed in the global tourism and hospitality industry. Through an integrated curriculum that combines academic study with applied training, students build a strong foundation in hospitality and service management, business operations, customer experience management, and intercultural communication within a global context.
Building on the foundations of hospitality management, the program aims to cultivate versatile business leaders for the wider service industry. Graduates develop transferable skills in management, operations, service innovation, and cross-cultural communication, enabling them to pursue careers across diverse sectors where service excellence and customer experience are central.
Culinary and Nutrition Education
Elective Groups:Physics and Chemistry are required
Blend culinary creativity with science-based nutrition knowledge.
This major prepares future professionals at the intersection of food, health, and education. Students explore both the art of culinary practice and the scientific principles of nutrition, developing the knowledge and skills required to promote healthier and more innovative food cultures.
Through integrated coursework and practical training, students gain expertise in Chinese and Western culinary techniques, nutritional science, food safety, and food-related education. The program cultivates professionals capable of combining culinary creativity with nutritional awareness and educational competence, opening pathways to careers in culinary innovation, nutrition education, food service management, and the wider health and wellness sector.
