I. Tuition Fee Standards

1. Tuition Fee Payment for New Students

For newly enrolled students, tuition fees shall be charged based on the tuition fee standard announced by the University for that admission year, after deducting the scholarship amount awarded, if applicable.

Example:

• Students who receive a full tuition scholarship are not required to pay tuition fees for that academic year.

• Students who receive a 50% tuition scholarship shall pay the remaining 50% of the standard tuition fee.

2. Tuition Fee Payment for Continuing Students

Continuing students shall pay the full tuition fee according to the tuition fee standard applicable in their year of admission or the corresponding new cohort allocation following a suspension, repeat or similar circumstances. Students who receive scholarships must first pay the tuition fee in full and on time. After the scholarship renewal review is completed and approval is granted, the University will refund the corresponding scholarship amount.

Example:

If the tuition fee standard for the admission year was RMB 100,000, and a student pays the full RMB 100,000 tuition fee in the second academic year, after confirmation of a RMB 50,000 scholarship award, the University will refund the RMB 50,000 scholarship amount to the student.

3. Special Case: Tuition Fee Payment for Repeat Students

The tuition fee for repeat students shall be calculated based on the proportion of repeated course units’ credits to the total required credits for the academic year, multiplied by the tuition fee standard applicable in the corresponding new cohort allocation.

Calculation Formula:

Repeat Fee = (Total Credits of Repeated Course Units ÷ Total Required Credits for the Academic Year × Tuition Fee Standard of the corresponding new cohort allocation.

Example:

A student from the 2025 cohort repeats two course units, each worth 3 credits (6 credits in total). The total required credits for the academic year are 40 credits. The student repeats the course units together with the 2026 cohort, whose annual tuition fee standard is RMB 100,000.

The repeat fee shall be calculated as:

(6 ÷ 40) × RMB 100,000 = RMB 15,000

II. Accommodation Fee Standards

• Fee Standard: Accommodation fees shall be charged according to the accommodation fee standard applicable to the student’s year of admission. However, students who repeat an academic year or extend their period of study shall pay accommodation fees according to the accommodation fee standard applicable in the corresponding repeat or extended academic year.

• Accommodation Coverage: Accommodation fees cover only the accommodation period specified in the University’s normal academic calendar. Students who are required to return to campus outside the normal academic calendar, including for retake examinations or other academic requirements, may not have access to on-campus accommodation and may be required to make their own accommodation arrangements.

• Off-campus Internship Period: Students participating in off-campus internships are exempt from accommodation fees during the internship period.

• Scholarship: Students who are awarded the English Excellence Scholarship are exempt from accommodation fees for their year of admission.
