  2. English Language Requirements: Candidates must achieve a minimum English subject score of 100 (out of a total of 150). In provinces where the total English score is not 150, the score shall be converted proportionally. In provinces that implement conversion scores, the English score shall be calculated and verified based on the original score before conversion. As core curriculum courses are delivered entirely in English, non-English-speaking candidates are advised to apply with caution.
  3. Tie-Breaking Rules: If filing scores and rankings are identical, priority will be given based on individual subject scores in the following order: English, Mathematics, and Chinese.
  4. Health Standard: HLTU follows the “Guidance Opinions on Physical Examination for General Higher Education Institutions”. Candidates with specific physical conditions (e.g., color blindness, significant facial defects, or speech impediments) are advised to consider the practical requirements of the hospitality industry before applying.
