HLTU 2026 Entrance Scholarship Implementation Measures
The 2026 Entrance Scholarships of Hainan Lausanne Tourism University are intended to reward outstanding students with excellent scores in the National College Entrance Examination, strong English proficiency, an international vision and core competitiveness. The detailed implementation measures are as follows:
I. Categories and Standards
1. President’s Distinguished Scholarship: Full tuition waiver for the 2026-2027 academic year.
2. Merit-Based Freshman Entrance Scholarship: 50% tuition waiver for the 2026-2027 academic year.
3. English Excellence Scholarship: Full accommodation waiver for the 2026-2027 academic year.
II.Eligibility & Award Criteria
1. Eligible Recipients: Outstanding 2026 undergraduate freshmen with outstanding National College Entrance Examination (NCEE) scores.
2. Criteria: NCEE admission scores shall be within the specified rank and score thresholds (inclusive) for each province (municipality). For detailed requirements, please refer to Appendix I.
III. Evaluation Process
1. The Admissions Department will draft the list of scholarship qualified applicants based on NCEE scores and rankings, and submit it to the HLTU Scholarship Evaluation Committee for review. No separate application is required.
2. Upon approval, scholarships are granted for the first academic year.
3. Evaluation is based on NCEE scores. Official bonus points from provincial education examination authorities are accepted. Applicants’ scores must comply with the requirements for their province and subject track in Appendix I.
4. Except for the English Excellence Scholarship, other entrance scholarships can be held for four consecutive years in principle, subject to annual compliance with the renewal requirements. Scholarship renewal and tuition payment are separate processes. Students must pay full tuition on schedule; refunds will be issued after successful renewal.
IV.Renewal Requirements
All conditions below must be satisfied:
1. Annual weighted GPA of 3.0 or above (out of 4).
2. No academic and disciplinary sanctions.
3. Continued enrollment at Hainan Lausanne Tourism University and timely payment of tuition for subsequent years.
V. Supplementary Provisions
1. Special cases shall be handled at the discretion of the HLTU Scholarship Evaluation Committee.
2. The final interpretation right of the present Measures belongs to the HLTU Scholarship Evaluation Committee.
3. The status (e.g. not started, ongoing, completed) of the scholarship review is open information and can be obtained by sending an email to the below supervision email address. Complaints must be from real-name registered person, with detailed reasons and evidence submitted in writing or as attachments via email.

1 The rank of the Gaokao submission score shall be the highest rank shown in the official one-score-one-rank table of that year. For provinces (municipalities) adopting the “3+3” model, the ranking shall be based on the overall ranking of all candidates.
2 English scores not based on a 150-point scale shall be converted per official standards.
