General Requirements(2026)

    Applicants must take the National College Entrance Examination (Gaokao).
  • 2.
    English Language Requirements: Candidates must achieve a minimum English subject score of 100 (out of a total of 150). In provinces where the total English score is not 150, the score shall be converted proportionally. In provinces that implement conversion scores, the English score shall be calculated and verified based on the original score before conversion. As core curriculum courses are delivered entirely in English, non-English-speaking candidates are advised to apply with caution.

    We do not impose gender restrictions or preference for recent vs. past graduates.
  • 4.
    Applicants must pass political, ethical, and health assessments in line with Ministry of education regulations.

Recruitment and Enrollment Policy(2026)

HLTU’s 2026 undergraduate enrollment plan includes two majors:

Hospitality Management
MICE Economy and Management
Tourism Management and Service Education
Culinary and Nutrition Education

All admissions follow the “Score Priority, Respect for Choices” system set by Examination Bureau of Hainan Province. Students are admitted based on Gaokao scores, program preferences. Applicants who do not meet their preferred program may be reallocated based on score and availability if they opt in for program adjustment.

Enrollment Policy and Information(2026)

Admissions must be completed through official procedures with verified documents and within the designated registration period.

Late registration without approved deferral results in automatic forfeiture of admission.

No unauthorized parties may collect fees on behalf of HLTU.

Accommodation(2026): RMB ¥9,600/year for a double room (includes utilities)

Scholarships(2026)

The 2026 Entrance Scholarships of HLTU are intended to reward outstanding students with excellent scores in the National College Entrance Examination, strong English proficiency, an international vision and core competitiveness.

President’s Distinguished Scholarship: Full tuition scholarship for the 2026–2027 academic year

Merit-Based Freshman Entrance Scholarship: 50% tuition scholarship for 2026–2027 academic year

English Excellence Scholarship: Full accommodation coverage for the 2026–2027 academic year
